Elastic announced the release of Elastic Security for Cloud, adding cloud risk and posture management and cloud workload protection to the features of the company’s already-available Elastic Security service, which already featured endpoint protection and SIEM. With infrastructure detection and response (IDR) and a machine learning capability that can identify known and undiscovered threats in cloud environments, the new solution enables businesses to manage their security posture for cloud-native and hybrid systems. With this strategy, businesses may limit the risk and harm caused by intrusions by quickly identifying and responding to malicious behavior in the cloud.
